Getting saved is actually very simple but very specific! It is as simple as A-B-C.
A. ADMIT you are a sinner. Are you a sinner? (Romans 3:10; 3:23) The Bible says that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. Is that you? You can’t be found until you are lost. If you can admit that you are a sinner, and we know that sin separates us from God, then we can go on to the next step.
B. BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ. You must believe that Christ died for your sins. (I Corinthians 15:1-4). Jesus Christ, the perfect lamb of God, took sin UPON him and suffered what we deserved (the wrath of God) on the cross of Calvary 2,000 years ago. He took your place, but it doesn’t matter for you unless you believe that he died for YOU (John 5:24) and if he died for you, he wants you to believe on him so he can give you the greatest gift ever (Romans 6:23)- ETERNAL LIFE.
C. CONFESS Christ as your Savior. Romans 10:9,10 tells you that if you believe AND CONFESS Christ, then you will be saved. You must publicly acknowledge him as your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. You must confess Christ in prayer, first of all, that you need God to be merciful to you as a sinner (Romans 10:13). You must tell somebody that you have trusted him as your Savior (Ephesians 1:13-14).
